Residential Services
The Resource & Crisis Center of Galveston County, Inc offers emergency shelter to those fleeing domestic violence or sexual assault. Each survivor will be assigned a case manager which will work diligently with the individual or family to achieve goals through empowerment, support, education, and safety planning.

Emergency Shelter Services include:

Safe and comfortable living quarters set up to accommodate the needs of single women or women with children

Separate safe housing for men in need of emergency shelter

Individual case management to provide assistance with safety planning, goal setting, and referrals to additional community resources

Cafeteria dining providing three nutritious meals a day

Outdoor leisure spaces and garden

Children's indoor and outdoor play areas

Group and individual counseling services

Housing advocacy and legal assistance

Homelessness prevention

Children's enrichment programs including after school activities, field trips, and arrangements for Galveston ISD schooling
