VOLUNTEER INFORMATION
STEP 1: Submit a Volunteer Application
*All volunteer applicants ages 18 and older will need to pass a background check prior to volunteering for direct services.*
STEP 2: Speak with RCC's Outreach and Development Team
Once you've submitted a Volunteer Application a member of the Outreach and Development team will reach out to you to speak about your interest in volunteering and begin to determine which opportunities could be right for you.
STEP 3: Attend Volunteer Orientation
Volunteer Orientation covers everything you need to know to get started as an RCC Volunteer. *Some opportunities require additional training.*

All volunteers must be at least 14 years of age. Volunteers 14 to 17 must have parental consent on their Volunteer Application.
Ages 14 and 15 must be accompanied by an adult while volunteering.
$20 fee for criminal background check for all direct service volunteer opportunities. Only cash or check accepted for payment.
It is the policy of RCC to not accept applicants as volunteers who have received services from our agency within the last 12 months.
Individuals with prior convictions of ASSAULT, FRAUD, or THEFT are not eligible to volunteer.
